Kwai Chang Caine meet maitre Poe

Je me dépêche pour retourner à la maison , j’ai dit plus tôt à mon meilleur ami d’enfance André Lepage qu’ont se verraient pour l’entrainement après mon émission favorite , vais-je apprendre des nouveaux mouvements de maître Poe ou de son élève Kwai Chang Caine , j’ai hâte de voir cette nouvelle épisode…………………….

 

Je n’ose absorbé cette nouvelle de la mort de David Carradine un des acteurs favoris des années 70s qui serait mort de façon contradictoire. Il fut retrouvé attaché dans sa chambre d’hôtel à Banckok(Royaume de la pédophilie légale) où il était descendu pour y tourné le film ‘’Stretch’’ pendu de la barre du garde-robe avec certains qui disent les mains attachées dans le dos et d’autres qui  disent (selon les photos prisent par la police) les mains attachées en haut de sa tête et il avait apparemment les testicules attachées.

Quel manque de tact par les journaux et la radio locaux imaginé la famille qui se lève le matin pour entendre sur les chaines la position d’un être aimé  décrit de la sorte , incroyable et humiliant , bien sûr certains sites anglophones et francophones se délectent de ces nouvelles et tentent de calmer le jeu en disant que mourir d’un auto asphyxie érotique est une chose banale et deviendra normale un jour?

Voulez vous me dire de quel genre de société en devis penserais de cette façon et où le monde actuel se dirige-t’il??? C’est loin d’être une chose banale d’autant plus que plusieurs contradiction ont vues le jour depuis sa découverte et qu’il serais impossible à un être humain de 73 ans de s’installer de la façon qu’était installer monsieur Carradine , j’y voit ici une couverture patriotique de la police locale qui on le sait bien à un degré d’honnêteté aussi fort que la pédophilie légale dans ce pays qui pour moi n’a aucun respect pour les droits humains alors l’enquête de cette supposé police me laisse absolument froid et renforcie ma peine pour la famille Carradine d’autant plus qu’il s’agit probablement d’un meurtre camouflé qui ne sera jamais résolue.

John Arthur Carradine a vu le jour à Hollywood Californie le 8 décembre 1936 , d’une mère dun nom Ardanelle Abigail (McCool était son nom de jeune fille/1911-1989) et d’un acteur bien connu dans le milieu hollywoodien John Carradine . Il fut le demi-frère de Bruce, Robert et Keith Carradine ainsi que l’oncle de Ever Carradine et Martha Plimpton. On dit que les origines de la famille Carradine furent diluées parmi les anglais , irlandais allemand indien cherokee et d’autres nationalités européennes.

Monsieur Carradine a fait le Oakland junior College et a étudié l’art dramatique au San Franscisco State College. Naturellement tout le monde sait que ses études allait le mener vers le monde fascinant de la cinématographie. Dans ses premiers rôles de 1963-64 il fit quelques apparitions dans des émissions de télévision et joua dans des westerns qui a l’époque étaient très populaires. Dans les dites séries télévisées il y avait ‘’The Alfred Hitchcock Hour , The Virginian and Wagon Train.

Ses débuts sur le grand écran furent dans le western de 1964 ‘’Taggart’’ un film basé sur le livre de Louis L’Amour. Il se retrouvera sur le plateau de Broadway dans ‘’The Royal Hunt of the Sun’’ de Peter Shaffer sur la destruction de l’empire Inca par le conquistador Francisco  Pizarro . Il gagnera en 1965 un ‘’Théâtre World Award’’ pour les meilleur débuts d’un acteur au théâtre .  Plus tard il retournera dans des séries télévisées dont ‘’Shane’’ une série de 1966 western basé sur une histoire d’un livre du même nom ainsi qu’il fut le remake de la version du film de 1953.

Nous entendrons parlé de David sous le nom de ‘’Big Bill Shelly’’en 1972 dans un des premiers films de Martin Scorsese “”Boxcar Bertha’’ avec Barbara Hershey comme Co-actrice. Il se fera offrir un rôle qui aurait été offert aussi à Bruce Lee mais vu que le producteur voulait absolument un américain il prit David Carradine qui avec les yeux à moitié fermés et ses origines Cherokee avait un peu oriental et probablement que les productions étaient effrayés par la venue d’une authentique chinois comme Bruce Lee qui à mon avis personnelle aurait été 100 fois meilleur mais la vie étant ce quelle est on va y aller avec David.

Il commença la série Kung Fu dans le rôle de Kwai Chang Caine et surprise il le rendait merveilleusement bien à l’écran , il faut dire que monsieur Carradine ayant été élevé dans une famille d’artiste était déjà très ouvert aux arts orientaux et nouvelles disciplines ce qui lui servit pour ce rôle. Surpris de mes propres réactions je me mit à adoré ce show et m’habitué à son personnage dans Kung Fu m’entrainant moi-même avec mon meilleur ami. Cette série lui emmenera des nominations aux Golden Globes et aux Emmy’s , ensuite il sera acclamé pour le rôle du chansonnier Woody Guthrie dans le film ‘’Bound of Glory(1976) et gagnera un ‘’National Board of Review Award pour meilleur acteur en plus d’être en nomination pour les Golden Globes et le New York Film Critics Circle Award.

Je me rappellerais toujours son rôle de tueurs au volant dans le film de 1975  ‘’La Course de la Mort’’ qui a subit un remake en 2009 qui était loin d’être l’original en fait rien dans cette version n’approchait l’original. Dans la foulée de sa grande carrière il sera un des seul acteur à avoir eu un rôle dans le seul film de Hollywood créer par le légendaire directeur Ingmar Bergman où il y joua le rôle de Abel Rosenberg dans le film ‘’The Serpent’s Egg(1977). Il fut dans les années 80s narrateur pour une série à PBS’’Faces of Cultures’’ , il apparaitra aussi comme acteur de soutien dans la série très connue de ‘’North and South’’ avec Patrick Swayze dans le rôle principal. Il sera en nomination aux Golden Globes pour son rôle de soutien dans la série ainsi que North and South , book II qui passa à la télévision en mai 1986.

David à toujours été un  original dans ces décisions il n’aimait pas suivre le courant , il a toujours été lui et une ancienne relation amoureuse du nom de Barbara Hershey(actrice elle aussi) plus avancé culturellement que les autres plus ouvert aux nouvelles modes et idées, dans son cœur et sa tête il était libre(il fut marié 5 fois en plus d’avoir eu une conjointe de faits) ce qui lui ressembla toute sa vie , il avait un cœur immense et la famille pour lui était très importante. Il est le père d’un fils nommé Free Carradine qu’il changea plus tard pour Tom Carradine

Il retournera à ses premiers amours avecle film ‘’Kung Fu :The Movie’’ reprenant son rôle de Kwai Chang Caine et aura comme co-star à ses débuts le fils de Bruce Lee : Brandon Lee qui aura le rôle du fils de Caine.  dans la même année il aura un rôle dans la série Amazing Stones de Steven Spielberg dans l’épisode ‘’Thanksgiving’’. Il sera aussi représentant de compagnies diverses pour des commerciaux télévisés  et retournera dans une autre série intitulée Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993-1997) dans le rôle du petit-fils de Caine. Il aura un rôle d’un démon puissant sous le nom de Tempus dans la série ‘’Charmed’’ et plus tard vers 2001 il apparait dans un épisode de Disney Channel dans la série Lizzie McGuire où son frère Robert Carradine y tient un rôle régulier et plus tard il fera la voix de Lo Pei l’ancien guerrier responsable de la pétrification de Shendu dans la série animé de Jackie Chan Adventures.

Ensuite en 2002 il fait la voix d’un des caractères de l’épisode “’’returning japanese’’ de la série ‘’King of the Hill’’ en jouant le rôle de Hank’s son demi-frère japonais. Il continueras son train train de chemin en apparaissant dans diverses séries télévisés et il  produira et jouera dans des vidéos d’entrainement aux arts martiaux du Tai Chi et du Qi Gong ce qui le dirigea tout naturellement vers le rôle de Bill dans le film de Quentin Tarantino ‘’Kill Bill’’. en 2003 et le deuxième en 2004.

David Carradine s’est toujours entrainé dans plusieurs discipline orientales de combat , ce n’était pas Bruce Lee loin de là mais l’efficacité y était et surtout ça le tenait en forme. Il continua à faire des apparitions dans plusieurs séries à la télévision ainsi que représentant de compagnies  pour des commerciaux télévisés en 2005 et 2006. Il touchera même au monde la musique dans un video intitulé ‘’Minus You’’ par ‘’Chapel of Thieves’’ un groupe du sud de la californie. Il a toujours aimé personnifié des maitres aux arts martiaux dans plusieurs disciplines , il eu une vie très chargé et beaucoup plus que bien des super-vedettes d’aujourd’hui.

Malgré ce que disent bien des gens à son sujet je garderais toujours le respect pour cet acteur qui je l’avoue à touché à bien des disciplines dans sa vie mais les a toujours reliées au merveilleux monde du cinéma. Pour ceux qui le traite d’acteur de deuxième niveau et qui ce pavanent devant des comédies nulles avec des actrice et acteurs qui sont trop cruche pour avoir un peu d’imagination , dites-vous bien qu’aucuns de ces soit disant vedettes n’aura une feuille de route aussi remplie que monsieur David Carradine.

Malheureusement le 4 juin 2009 on retrouva le corps inerte de David carradine dans sa chambre d’hôtel Suisse le Nai Lert Park Hôtel à Sukhumvit proche de la capitale bangkok en Thailande où il était descendue pour le tournage du film ‘’Stretch’’. Le 3 Juin en soirée il était supposé rejoindre le ‘’crew’’ pour souper mais ne c’est jamais rendu, on le retrouva pendu dans une position dégradante dans le grade-robe de la chambre une position que même le plus entrainé des athlètes de cirque aurait eu de la difficulté à s’imposé lui-même alors imaginez un homme de 73 ans  selon la thèse de la police thaïlandaise qui dit n’importe quoi pour sauvé la face c’est tout , comme je l’ai dit au début un meurtre camouflé en suicide  sûrement!!!!

Tu nous manqueras David et Kwai Chang Caine restera fidèlement dans nos mémoires à tout jamais ……………………………………….
